IN MY SLEEP I AM ROMEO

Today I saw someone, eyes I wanted to give the world, hands I wanted to help grasp everything they wanted.

There’s a terrible feeling that comes with knowing only the red parts of one’s tomorrow, in knowing that her tomorrow doesn’t include me.

Which is why I believe so much in today because I can see the day ends with a moonlight smile

I hold on to pieces of me I want to let go of.

Son, there’s a vulnerability that comes with loving. It’s like holding on to a log of wood in the expanse of an ocean…

But her eyes are brownish black which means there is some part of this I do not see right

She walks towards me. I fall again.
