ABSTRACT AND MUSE

in my line of sight
i see molds floating
drowned by the sunlight
that fell like clear spring

sometimes
they lead me
to the hill beyond
the horizon of thoughts
and i get lost in this trip

most times
i delve into a trance
as its swinging feet
break and caress my mind
like imbalance

but it’s voice
is a whisper of songs
duet with abstract and muse
an epic spirit

so i pick up my pen
write down ‘soul’

and close my eyes.

THRILL OF LIES

lies
are written words on paper
read from the blank side.
they are incomplete ink drawings
or nothing but strong strokes.

lies
are tear drops rolling off
tongues of three languages;
distrust, betrayal and pretense.
natives have strong accents.

lies,
are dyed shoes
and black wears
bleached brown by sun rays.

they are bygones of yesterday
the eclipse of today
promises of tomorrow
tomorrow that never comes.
