Yiro Abari High

Yiro Abari High (born Yiro Abari Pede) is an author, geologist, and civil servant based in Jos, Nigeria. Since being inspired by the Caine Prize for African Writing in 2013, he has shifted his focus from reporting local events on his blog News Tower to literary fiction. In addition to The African Writer, his work has been featured in the Kalahari Review and Brittle Paper. He is also the author of the book How to Become a Music Maestro. Beyond writing, he enjoys traveling, reading, and observing the natural beauty of the Jos Plateau region.
