Salama Wainaina is a Kenyan writer whose work has appeared in The Kalahari Review, Brittle Paper, Afrocritik, The Shallow Tales Review, African Writer Magazine and The Journal of African Youth Literature (JAY Lit) where she was a co-winner of the Inaugural JAY Lit Prize for Poetry 2024.
