John Edward Ellis

John Edward Ellis grew up in West Africa, Europe, and the Northeastern United States. His essays and articles have been published in African Writer Magazine, Relief Journal, Salvo Magazine, the Kalahari Review, Able Muse Review, Ginosko Literary Journal, and elsewhere. Ellis is the recipient of a Fulbright Scholarship to Senegal and a graduate fellowship from Saint Mary’s College of California, where he earned an M.F.A. He serves on the editorial board for the Journal of Veterans Studies.
