"I grew up around women, strong loving women that taught me how to live and how to love. I've always been an emotional lady, and I guess that is where my love for poetry and the written word comes into play, for what is Poetry without Life and vice versa?"
Kwegan grew up in London, England and only relocated to the US (where she has been sharpening her talents for penning poetry) a few years ago. She hasn't been published in any major anthology or literary magazines yet, but that's only a matter of time. She is currently working on a Poetry CD (with some other poets), and a "Poetic/Artistic book centered on the black sub-soul culture in America expressed through words"
