Khosa J.K. Chambalo

Khosa J.K. Chambalo is a Malawian writer and narrative storyteller whose storytelling combines the beats of everyday village existence with timeless insight and social commentary. His short stories, in which some have been published in Malawi News (2021, 2024), are drawn from Malawian culture, oral society, and the lives of individuals at grassroots level. Both in English and in Chichewa, Chambalo's prose calls forth his people's voices with Chinua Achebe-like flair using proverbs and cultural motifs that ground his fiction in African authenticity.
