James Joy (they/them) is an emerging African voice, from Kenya. You can find their poems in the Black Youth Project, ANMLY, Kalahari Review, Dirigible Balloon, and many others. They write everyday because stories matter, no matter what anyone says. Outside of writing, they enjoy visiting museums and cooking great delicacies.
