Bayowa, Ayomide Micheal is a writer, cinematographer, actor and director. He goes by the name "Ayomi". He studies Theatre Arts at the University of Ibadan. His poem "The Flood" was shortlisted for the 2017 Christopher Okigbo Inter-University Poetry Prize. His poem "How to Break-Loose from the Battle Field" was long-listed for the 2018 Nigeria Students' Poetry Prize. His poem has appeared on praxis-magazine online. His first chapbook titled 'Stream of Tongues (The Watercourse of Voices)' was published by Poets in Nigeria Initiative. He believes the fear of coffee is the beginning of wisdom.
