CONFESSION OF AN UNKNOWN LOVER

A long journey down the
lane of time.
In the cloak and garment
of beauty,
the engagement of the
soul to the art of her
attraction.

The twist in the curves of
her skin,
the blistering stars of the
eyes in the vane of
temptation.
Blowing the mind are hooks
of bleeding tales in the
deceitful ocean of love.

In the books of her heart,
the pages of rejection,
on the script of her mind
are tunes of separation in
a fallen defeat of romance.
The melody of her voice,
the rising tune in the
rhythm of mystery in
the clustered line of
confusion.

The sin of lust in the bell
of her attention,
the shaded colour of
innocence in the cloud
of distraction.

The veil of her beauty,
the vision of tortured
character.
In the movement of
class, the touch of
insanity.

The talent of attraction
in the sinking cloud
moving in the realm
of clues.
Her heart forever be
blue if she seek for
the love that is
true.

HUMBLE WALL AT ITS DUSK

Hands that mould thee fall
across the surface beneath
the shore.
The unclean pool moulds my
skin within its filth of dust
and water across its shore.

To rise above the builder’s
feet,
Silent yet dead in the invisible
rage of the dark.
Decay, the rust of the body
lay back to the waste of the
dust.

Walking back to the shades of
the dust,
The hands that built it do not
perceive the existence of its
crust.
My humble walls of buried
beauty,
The story ends on the twirl
of the wind on the pages
of vanity.
