Yusuf Adamu lectures in the department of Geography, Bayero University, Kano Nigeria. Currently a Fulbright Visiting Reseracher at the department of Epidemiology and International Health, School of Public Health, University of Alabama at Birmingham. He is a member of ANA national executive and its Kano branch chairman. His publications include: Idan So Cuta Ne (1989), Ummul-Khairi (1995), Litters (2000) and Landscapes of Reality (in press). He is currently editing Pregnant Skies, an anthology of 50 Nigerian Poets.
